William Evans
William “Bill” Evans graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978. He held the position of Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review and graduated fifth in his class. He was a moot court finalist at the institution and still serves periodically as a Teaching Fellow in legal research and writing.
As a divorce lawyer with over four decades of experience in the field, he has earned many accolades which include the Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rating awarded to only the top one (1) percent of attorneys in the United States based upon peer review. He has held the AVVO Superb “Perfect 10” rating since its inception and in 2018 was named by the Los Angeles Times as a “Top Lawyer in Southern California.” His wealth of experience in family law matters provides the ability and leverage to obtain positive legal results for his clients through mediation and settlement to avoid protracted court battles, if possible. However, he is also a very experienced trial attorney and not hesitant to fully litigate your case in the event the other side is intractable or judicial resolution is otherwise required.
Bill specializes in family law with an emphasis on the resolution of complex cases and significant marital estates. He primarily practices before the Los Angeles and Orange County Superior Courts.
